November is a month of celebrations!
November 21st is the celebration of Our Lord Jesus Christ, King of the Universe; November 25th is Thanksgiving Day; and November 28th is the First Sunday of Advent.
But first we have All Saints’ Day and All Souls Day.
All Saints’ Day, Monday, November 1st, is a Holy Day of Obligation and will be celebrated here at St. Padre Pio Parish with Masses at 8:30AM and 7PM. Learn Religions has an interesting article about the history of this holy day.

All Souls Day, Tuesday, November 2nd, will be celebrated here at St. Padre Pio Parish with a special Mass at 7PM. This day is for the Commemoration of All the Faithful Departed. Again, Learn Religions has an article about this celebration.

These are very personal celebrations for us as Catholics. We remember those saints who we ask for guidance and intercession. Then we remember those who have gone on before us: our mothers & fathers, our brothers & sisters, our friends & relatives. Maybe we ask them the same questions!
What a fantastic time!
